One-time snapshot · 31 Oct 2026 · not updated. This was FarmBot's first look at the fields, made before the exact field edges were marked. It used a rough box around the village and square boxes around each plot. We keep it for reference and will not update it. New to satellite words? Read What the satellite sees. One wet season, a long dry one

NASA POWER (a free NASA weather estimate) puts June–October 2026 rain at about 1,402 mm, peaking in Sep 2026 (496 mm). 6 months had under 25 mm. The hottest month was Apr 2026 (average day high 38.7 °C). Open-Meteo (a free weather service) gives 1,708 mm rain over the period and the water that sun and wind pull from a crop (ET0) of about 1,599 mm a year. Estimate

The last month may be partial. NASA POWER works in ~50 km squares. Open-Meteo is a computer reconstruction of past weather (reanalysis, ~9–11 km squares). Use them for trends, not exact amounts. There is no rain gauge on the farm yet.

Rain and temperature chart
How to read this: blue bars are rain each day. The red line is the day high and the orange line the night low, in °C.Daily rain and temperature (computer estimate).
Chart of soil wetness and crop water need
How to read this: the blue line is wetness in the top 7 cm of soil, the orange line deeper down (28–100 cm). The grey line is how much water the sun and wind pull out each day. When grey is high and blue falls, the soil is drying.Estimated soil wetness and crop water need.

Fishing pond surface water

The pond held between 0.9 and 1.6 ha (about 2.2–4.0 acres) of open water (water score (NDWI), within 150 m) on every clear date from Nov 2025 to Jun 2026. The second water score (MNDWI) suggests about a 33% shrink from Dec–Jan to Mar–May. Seen by satellite Dry-season water (6 months under 25 mm of rain) is what matters for any winter (rabi) crop.

Pond water area
How to read this: each dot is one clear photo. Higher = more open water near the pond. The blue and orange lines are two versions of the water score. The big September spike is most likely wet fields or haze, not real pond growth.Water area within 150 m of the pond centre.
